On the first Friday of every month, the heart of downtown becomes St. Pete’s biggest block party. First Friday St. Pete is a showcase for the great bands, great drinks, and great food that make us Florida’s most exciting city.

The party is located on Central Avenue between 2nd & 3rd Street. 

WHY VOLUNTEER?

The tips we collect will support Project LINK programs & services.

Project LINK is a community based, an organization dedicated to promoting academic achievement, advocating for equity education, and expanding access to community service providers for homeless children. The mission is to provide supportive services and advocacy for children and their families.

As volunteers, we will be pouring and serving beer/wine at the First Friday event in downtown St Petersburg on

Friday, June 7th, 2019 

EVENT DETAILS:

 

  • Volunteers will be standing the entire shift. You will collect drink tickets and pour & serve beverages from the keg truck.

  • Wear comfortable shoes.

  • This is a rain or shine event. Depending on the weather, it may be chilly. Please bring a light sweater.

  • Shift begins at 5 pm and the last pour is 10:30 pm, clean up will immediately follow the last pour. We are usually complete around 11 PM to 11:15 PM

  • Shifts are 5:00 pm-8:30 pm and 8:00 pm-11:15 pm 

  • You must be at least 21 years old to volunteer.

  • We are asking everyone to wear a RED shirt (collared or not) so customers and co-volunteers can ID us.

  • Tip jars – this is the reason we are here! To support Project LINK! We need courtesy oriented and friendly volunteers that will encourage customers to toss their change in the jar.
