Project LINK, in partnership with Florida Blue along with the Hillsborough County Back-to-School Coalition, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, Tampa Family Health Centers and local corporate partners will host its 24th annual Back-to-School Clinics at two locations in 2019, at Blake High School, located at 1701 N. Blvd. Tampa 33607 and Middleton High School, located at 4801 N. 22nd Street, Tampa 33610. Visit us again in the 1st quarter of 2019 to get schedules.
The purpose of the “Back-2-School Clinics” is to initiate school readiness, parental involvement, and community interaction, targeting economically challenged families who reside in Hillsborough County and have children that attend schools throughout Hillsborough County Public School System.
This event targets students entering kindergarten through high school levels. Students are provided with free school supplies such as backpacks, pens, paper, notebooks, and rulers in addition to health services such as immunization, eye examinations and physicals—all requirements needed to attend schools in the Hillsborough County School District.
Project LINK is also a member of The Back-to-School Coalition of Hillsborough County. The coalition members consist of local non-profit agencies that each have back to school events at their selected sites.
During the event, families get an opportunity to meet with various school principals & teachers, community support agencies, sponsoring corporate representatives and partake in a host of activities that include entertainment, face painters, balloon makers and a back to school pep rally.
We invite you and your family to come out for this fun-festive event to KICK-OFF the new school year. Meet with many community support services, school faculty members, and enjoy fun-filled entertainment for the kids. Lunch will be provided Courtesy of Publix Supermarkets.
