eMerging Healthy Students
Building Resilience, Supporting Mental Wellness, Shaping Futures.
The eMerging Healthy Students (eHS) program, a flagship initiative by Project LINK, focuses on promoting the mental and emotional well-being of middle school students in the Tampa Bay area. Designed to address the behavioral and emotional challenges students face—especially those exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic—eHS utilizes a comprehensive, multi-tiered approach to mental health support.
Through weekly mental health education sessions, mindfulness practices, yoga, and individual counseling, the program equips students with the skills they need to manage stress, cope with difficult emotions, and foster resilience. In collaboration with local schools, behavioral health professionals, and community organizations, eHS provides a safe and supportive environment where students can learn how to navigate life’s challenges and make positive choices.
With a focus on early intervention, eHS addresses key topics such as anger management, bullying, grief, substance abuse prevention, and emotional regulation.
By fostering a growth mindset and building emotional resilience, eHS not only supports students’ mental health but also helps create a positive and inclusive school culture. The program serves as a vital resource for middle school students, empowering them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
