The Parent Leadership Academy of Tampa Bay, operated by Project LINK, is dedicated to empowering parents and caregivers by providing the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to foster healthy family dynamics and personal growth. Located in in Northern Hillsborough County, on the campus of Chamberlain High School, the Academy offers a range of workshops, training sessions, and mastery classes that cater to the diverse needs of parents in the community.
Our mission is to support parents in navigating the challenges of modern-day parenting while also helping them build essential literacy and workforce skills for long-term personal and professional growth. We work in collaboration with Hillsborough County Public Schools to offer Integrated Education and Training (IET) classes, which combine literacy, career training, and education to enhance employability and career advancement.
In addition to career-focused classes, the Academy provides programs focused on addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), equipping parents with strategies to foster resilience and positive outcomes for their children. Through these courses, parents learn to support their children’s emotional and mental well-being, create nurturing environments, and develop strong family relationships.
At the Parent Leadership Academy, we also offer Parent Mastery Classes, covering a wide array of topics such as positive parenting, communication skills, self-care, co-parenting, teen parenting, and much more. These classes are designed to enhance the skills parents need to lead their families with confidence, compassion, and resilience.
