Our Profound Impacts

Our work in the community is driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed. Project LINK’s initiatives touch lives, provide support, and inspire positive change for families in Tampa Bay.

Increased Access to Essential Health Services

Nearly 2500 Served Annually

Each year, the Back-2-School Health Clinics provide critical support to nearly 2,500 uninsured and Medicaid-enrolled students by offering no-cost school physicals and routine immunizations, ensuring they can begin the school year healthy and ready to learn. Through these clinics, over 92% of participants receive all required vaccines, helping them meet Florida’s school entry requirements and reducing the risk of vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks. As a result, 100% of attendees are equipped with the proper health documentation, preventing delays in school enrollment and promoting consistent academic attendance across Hillsborough County.

Building Resilience and Enhancing Well-being

Impacting over 1000 students

The eMerging Healthy Students (eHS) program has positively impacted over 1,000 middle school students in the Tampa Bay area by providing mental health education, mindfulness activities, and counseling. As a result, 70% of students reported lower stress levels, 25% fewer behavioral incidents were reported, and 30% more students accessed mental health services. Additionally, 85% of students showed increased emotional resilience, contributing to a healthier, more supportive school environment.

Inspiring Parents Excellence Together

Served 536 Parents to date...

The Parent Leadership Academy of Tampa Bay, operated by Project LINK, is dedicated to creating lasting change in the lives of parents and their families. Through our workshops, training sessions, and mastery classes, parents will strengthen family relationships, support their children's emotional and academic growth, and develop essential skills for career success.

Key outcomes include:

  • Improved Family Dynamics: Stronger communication, healthy boundaries, and supportive relationships.

  • Enhanced Parenting Skills: Practical strategies for peaceful parenting, stress management, emotional intelligence, and addressing ACEs.

  • Career Development: Literacy and workforce skills through IET classes, improving employability and financial stability.

At the Parent Leadership Academy, we empower parents to create brighter futures, leading to stronger families and healthier communities.

Empowering Over 41,000 Families Since 1989

Since its inception in 1989, Project LINK has proudly served over 41,000 families, providing vital access to education, healthcare, and wellness programs. Through our comprehensive services, we have empowered individuals, strengthened families, and fostered resilient communities, creating lasting positive change for thousands of families in the Tampa Bay area.

A Vision for the Future

Introducing our vision for the Children’s Health Equity Center – a state-of-the-art facility designed to address the most urgent health and wellness challenges faced by children and families. This innovative center will feature a research hub focused on childhood diabetes, the impact of COVID on adolescents, and mental health resiliency strategies for teens. In addition, we will integrate an urgent care facility to provide a wide range of services for non-life-threatening conditions and injuries, offering a convenient alternative to emergency rooms and primary care doctors for insured, Medicaid-enrolled, and uninsured children. With comprehensive healthcare, mental wellness services, and educational support, the center will empower the next generation to thrive physically, emotionally, and academically, fostering long-term health and resilience for all children in our community.
