We are also committed to recognizing the strengths in families and utilizing all resources in formulating flexible strategies for support. All services provided through our office are developed in a culturally competent, family friendly manner.
Our main goals are to promote parent empowerment through a comprehensive neighborhood based program that improves the quality of the parent-child relationship, to effectively utilize a system of care by enhancing accessibility and utilization of existing support services to improve the quality of life for our targeted community, and to improve grade benchmarks required by Hillsborough County Public Schools standard ratings.
Participants
Project LINK serves children and their families via various programs, community events, & workshops with concerted efforts of other community agencies that increasingly value regular school attendance and parental involvement as pivotal contributing factor in school success. Achievement of these goals are evident by a continuous reduction in the number of students with high truancy and a corresponding continuous increase in the number of students successfully exhibiting improved grade benchmarks.
